Math Topical tests

Hi all,
Just to inform you that we will be having the post test for Math Test 2 next Monday. Then we 'll have the Math Test 3 on Tuesday. I'll give out the Math Test 2 paper tomorrow. You'll do the corrections and bring it home for revision & parents signature.

SA1 Revision topics

Hello ,

As I've said today in class, these are the things to take note while revising for your exams. The dates of the exams have been given in Term 2 memo and I've also placed them in the calender at the bottom of the class blog. Please take a look & mark them in your diaries with the stickers (if you want to).


Science

  • P3 topics

Diversity : Things Around Us (living and non-living things)

: Classification of Plants

: Classification of Animals

: Materials

Systems : Human Systems

: Plants Systems


  • P4 Interaction: Magnets

  • P4 Matter

  • P4 Heat Energy (Energy Conservation is not in SA1)

English Compo

  • Go through the phrases in the worksheets that we've done in the compo file.

  • Revise through the compo & read my comments.

  • Go through the Compo phrases booklet that I've given out sometime ago.

English SA1

  • 4A TB

Math

  • Study from Whole Numbers to Perpendicular lines of the textbook chapters.

  • Squares & Rectangles is not in SA1 exam.

P/S I've still have some more compo worksheets that I left on my table! I've forgotten to bring it to class today (2 of them). PLease ask Ms Loh to give it out tomorrow or I'll do it on Friday.

Weekend homework

Hello boys and girls,
How's class? I'm fine serving the country here, I'm safe & your homes are safe too :) Here's the list of homework that I am collecting on Monday.

  1. Please complete the Fractions Word Problems in your WB (I'll mark these).
  2. Please complete the Eng Unit 4 Supplementary worksheet (Ms Loh will mark these).
  3. For those who still owe the P1 registration form or the Science WB, please bring them on Monday too.
  4. Please do the Sports Carnival reflection at GMLites when you're free.
  5. I was informed that on Monday (20/04/09), all P1 to P4 classes are to watch a skit in the hall from 1230pm to 1pm, for Singapore Kindness Week. Then you'll be given a form after that to fill in your thoughts.
  • In case if I'm unable to come on Monday, CIP monitors are to collect for me & place them on my table.

Good Friday Homework

Hi all,

I hope you will finish the compo homework so that I can collect them on Monday when I drop by. If I don't, it means I'm unable to find the time. So CIP monitors, please collect them & place it on my table so I can collect them when I can. For those who read this message, please inform the CIP on Monday.
Below is a list of reminders for you.

  1. Please learn Unit 4's Dictation for Tuesday's Spelling. The relief teacher have been instructed by me to start Eng Unit 5, Math Angles topic & Sci Energy. Please bring your Energy WB on Monday so we can start the activity on Thursday & Friday.
  2. Please remind the teacher to bring you to the hall on Monday at 8am for the Fun & Fitness program.
  3. Please remind the teacher to bring you to the AVA room at 930am for your Health Check. Health monitors are to give out the Health booklet to everyone, to carry it for your health check by the nurses.
  4. Please bring a protractor for Maths Angles. Refer to your TB on how it looks like for those who are unsure. You can buy it at the book shop.

Thirsty Crow

Hello children,
Please follow these steps for the Science worksheet. These are the steps that we did last Friday in class.
  1. Fill in the measuring cyclinder with water.

  2. Record the volume.

  3. Place the object (rubber bung/pebble/marble) in the measuring cylinder

  4. Record the volume of the water and the object.

  5. Volume of object = Volume of Water - Volume of Water (ml) the Object (ml)

Then, please fill in the 2 properties of Matter that you have learnt from the Thirsty Crow activity.
